Lancaster ISD Announces a Newly Redesigned 6th Grade Campus

Lancaster ISD is committed to providing innovative programs ensuring that every student graduates with the skills necessary to compete in this technological advancing society, thus, beginning summer 2011; we will offer STEM curriculums to students in Grades 5, 6, and 7.

The newly redesigned sixth grade center will use a unique approach designed to help students mature academically and socially before matriculating into middle school. We are excited about the opportunities presented as a part of a science, technology, math and engineering emphasis that will guide the instructional focus of this campus.
The Lancaster 6th Grade Center, located at 1005 Westridge Ave., will open for the 2011-2012 school year as a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematic school using problem-based/project-based learning (PBLs).

Parents interested in this campus can contact the Communications office at 972.218.1400 for more information on how to enroll.
