4 years in education
My career has included teaching fifth and eighth grade as an intervention specialist, helping students prepare for the STAAR exam. I have also been a substitute teacher for all grades between K-10th. This is my fifth year at G.W. Carver. My first two years were spent teaching science and my last two years have been in special education teaching math.
I enjoy teaching and working with students to help them overcome their academic struggles. My goal is to provide equitable instruction to all students so that they can be successful and achieve their academic goals.
My hobbies and interests include learning about anything related to technology, science, drawing, watching movies and listening to all kinds of music.

"Commitment is a big part of what I am and what I believe. How committed are you to winning? How committed are you to being a good friend? To being trustworthy? To being successful? How committed are you to being a good father, a good teammate, a good role model? There's that moment every morning when you look in the mirror: Are you committed, or are you not?"
